WHY SHOULD WE HIRE A CONSULTANT INSTEAD OF HIRING A NEW EMPLOYEE?
Thailand has a very competitive labor market and it could take several weeks or even months to find the right talent for your specific tasks. This could become an unnecessary burden and investment for a short one-off project, especially since most projects result in an overlap of different areas and expertise.
Moreover, our consultants already have extensive experience working in temporary projects and could start working in a more productive way from the very beginning, which would also give you an outside eye with honest analyses and recommendations.
HOW DO WE KNOW THAT YOUR TEAM IS REALLY QUALIFIED FOR OUR PROJECT?
All our consultants are senior professionals and managers who have already worked for global top-tier consulting firms and research agencies. Depending on our order situation and availability of personnel resources we will make sure to engage the most qualified person for your project and your specific needs.
DO YOU HAVE FIXED PRICES FOR YOUR SERVICES?
We have no fixed prices as every project is unique and requires always a closer examination and cost estimation. There are just too many factors and dimensions that could affect the extent of our efforts and the number of personnel, such as your overall objectives, the scope and complexity of your project, your organization, your industry and the required timing to deliver your project.
As an example, the timeline and fee for a typical market research project, including competitive analysis and consumer study can last between four and ten weeks and range from five thousand to fifteen thousand US dollars. On the other hand, we also offer and provide strategic and operational support to our clients, both for short-term and long-term projects, and depending on the desired and determined period of time, your industry, the function area and the required level of expertise, the fee can range from two hundred to five hundred US dollars per man-day.
DO YOU CHARGE CLIENTS FOR INITIAL MEETINGS?
We are very flexible and offer a first complimentary one-hour session at our office as well as via email, phone or video call to discuss your needs, but we can also visit you at your premises free-of-charge if you are located in our immediate neighborhood, i.e. downtown Bangkok. For visits in other areas we need to bill a pre-determined fee as it would require certain travel arrangements and also take up too much of our time in order to discuss merely a possible collaboration.
CAN YOU ALSO SUPPORT CLIENTS OUTSIDE OF YOUR GEOGRAPHICAL AREA?
We are headquartered in Bangkok and have further a small office and team in Chiang Mai. We are also working frequently on cross-border projects with competent and reliable partners of other Southeast Asian countries. This allows us to offer clients immediate and region-wide support with smooth project coordination at competitive prices and without charging any significant travel and accommodation expenses.
DO YOU PROVIDE CREDIT FOR YOUR CLIENTS?
Offering credit increases our risk of being paid late or not at all. We therefore always require upfront payments for new and overseas clients, especially for projects where we have to outlay money to perform our service. The payment schedule may therefore differ from client to client based on your specific project and needs as well as on cash flow requirements, i.e. fifty percent or the full upfront payment for short-term engagements or monthly upfront payments for long-term engagements based on retainer agreements.
DO YOU OFFER GUARANTEES FOR YOUR SERVICE?
During our engagement we will provide you with data, insights, suggestions, opinions and other practical advice in order to achieve your ambitious goals and we measure our performance based on the determined objectives and solutions of our discussions and service agreements. Should any performance failure occur which is attributable to our wrongdoing, we will certainly take appropriate steps to correct the situation at no additional fees or charges for you. However, our advice shouldn’t be the basis for investment decisions and any further approach you ultimately take must remain your decision as we cannot take responsibility for actions which are not in our control.
As an example, if you are looking for a distribution partner, we can certainly help you to identify a number of promising and qualified business partners and also support you with the related qualification process and communication. However, we cannot take responsibility or offer a refund if you cannot come to a mutual agreement with them due to different expectations regarding the terms and conditions for a cooperation.
DO YOU HAVE SAMPLES OF YOUR PREVIOUS WORK?
It is not possible for us to send you a sample as we are required to meet our confidentiality obligations with our clients at all times. However, we have included a number of screenshots of our reports in our Case Studies section.
DO YOU HAVE REFERENCES THAT YOU COULD PROVIDE US?
We would be certainly willing to introduce you to our past and existing clients. However, we also need to make sure to respect their valuable time and privacy and are therefore providing their references only shortly before contract conclusion.
